It is ASAP Global Summit time again and as we head to snow free and warm Orlando, Florida from the grasp of one of the two worst winters in Boston’s recorded weather history, we are excited about more than the chance to leave the snow boots and shovels at home!

At the Summit (which TRoB is once again pleased to sponsor) we are launching the SMART Partnering™ Alliance – a collaboration between The Rhythm of Business and Alliancesphere – two partnering experts dedicated to improving alliance success. SMART Partnering is joint methodology that we’ve collectively developed based on more than 15 years of operational, consulting and academic experience in partnering efforts of all shapes and sizes. It is our answer to what is needed to realize the both the promise and the requirements in the new normal of connected ecosystems.

To launch our alliance, we are pleased to offer our new whitepaper, SMART Partnering: Orchestrating Success in the Era of Connected Ecosystems. If you are attending the Summit, come to our roundtable discussion, Improving Alliance Success Rates, What is an Alliance Professional to Do? (Session 501, Tuesday at 1:15) and Alliancesphere CEO Lorin Coles, CSAP’s session (Session 402, Tuesday at 2:10). And make sure to come visit us in the Alliance Management Resource Center (AMRC).

You can also view the webinar we did for ASAP in January on the same theme, if you are an ASAP Member.

Or check out our ad in the Q1 2015 issue of Strategic Alliance Magazine. As it says, overflowing success in your partnering initiatives is the goal of SMART Partnering.

Other resources to learn about SMART Partnering include an article published in Chief Strategy Officer Magazine and video of a presentation that Jan and Lorin gave at the Chief Strategy Officer Summit in New York this past December.

Stay tuned, as soon after the Summit, we will be posting our session slides and additional materials – that is if we don’t opt to spend the rest of the winter among the flamingoes instead of among the snowy owls!
